ADAC Rally

This is probably just about the first ever motorsport photo I took. In about 1991 I bought my first camera, a 1970s Pentax Spotmatic II with a 50mm lens. This shot was taken at a local airfield during the national German rally championship, sponsored by ADAC. Considering that I had just progressed from taking photos of fairly stationary flowers, I considered capturing a moving target with a fully manual camera some achievement.
